Pray For Us

We believe in the power of prayer and its importance in our work.  There are many ways to get involved:

  • Pray for Catholic Charities and those we serve on a daily basis using specific monthly prayer intentions focused on the success of the agency and the well-being of our clients.
  • Attend our monthly Morning Prayer Service at 7:30 am in the Courtyard of Compassion on the 2nd Thursday of each month to acknowledge the role of Mary at the Marian House.  The Courtyard is located in front of the Marian House.  We invite all Prayer Society members to join us, but anyone is welcome to attend.  The location will change during winter months and inclement weather to inside the Marian House.
  • Attend our monthly Mass / Prayer Service at 2:00 pm in the Hanifen Center on the 4th Thursday of each month.
  • Attend an Annual Mass to pray for Catholic Charities, officiated by the Most Reverend Michael J. Sheridan, Bishop of Colorado Springs.  We encourage all Pray Society members to attend.

Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua

St. Anthony, your love for the infant Jesus made him present to you to see and hold in your arms. Help us to see and love Jesus in all the poor and suffering of the world. Move us to clothe, feed and help Jesus, in all unwanted, abused and abandoned people. Lead us, for the sake of Jesus – who became a child like one of us – to reverence and protect all human life from its beginning to its end.
