Accompaniment is our hallmark. We walk with clients in their suffering and in their healing.

Navigation

Our Marian House Navigation Team assists clients find the service they need as quickly as possible through Catholic Charities programs, on-site partners, or referrals. View our Marian house Services Guide in Engish or Spanish.

Legal Assistance

We provide access to legal services and advice by appointment only.

Mail Service

Clients who are working in case managerment with Catholic Charities can register to use the Marian House – 14 W Bijou – as a permanent mailing address. An ID is required to sign up.

Mail pick-up is M – F, 9 – 10 a.m.

Identification

We provide IDs and birth certificate replacement services which are vital for housing, work, benefits, etc. Clients must be enrolled in a Catholic Charities program. Bring any identification or substantiating documents to your appointment. Appointments can be made by calling 719-866-6284

Shelter Referrals

Emergency & temporary shelter referrals, transitional housing, and long-term housing referrals are made to local partners.

Case management is the method we use to support healing and change. The case management process involves:

  • Active listening, hearing strengths and motivations 
  • Assessment of areas of need, strengths, and readiness for change
  • Client-led goal-setting
  • Identifying internal and external resources needed
  • Follow up with client on their utilization of resources and progress toward goals

Important to our practice working with people toward change are key principles of trauma-informed care, whole-person care, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based case management.
