As the charitable arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, families and individuals come to Catholic Charities to begin their journey from crisis to stability, to weather the current storm, or to heal a broken spirit.
Through our faith, our staff and volunteers guide those we serve with compassion and purpose, helping map out the journey based upon realistic goals and abilities, utilizing Catholic Charities’ programs and services, partner agencies, and community collaborations. At our core, we understand that every connection has the potential to empower and uplift, to breathe life into aspirations and dreams. Through these bonds, lives are impacted and transformed.
Catholic Charities serves anyone in need regardless of religion, race, gender, age, disability, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, or background.
We believe relationships empower and transform lives – that people who are experiencing poverty and injustice should be “seen” and served.

Mike lived in the shelter for a year. During that time, he ate at the Marian House Kitchen. When he found a job and an apartment, he began using the Marketplace food pantry to make ends meet. Mike is grateful that Catholic Charities accepted him and was there to help.
Luis’ mom escaped political persecution in Venezuela after being forced to participate in pro-regime activities. At the time, she was an engineer working for a government petroleum agency, her husband had left, and she was five months pregnant. She sought asylum in the United States where several months later, Luis was born.
Michael sought help from our Castle Rock office. He said, “I could live in a cardboard box, but I needed stability for my kids.” Today, he has a job and a stable home for his family.
Josh and Amanda came to Catholic Charities to become better parents and regain custody of their daughter, Aliana. Through hard work and perseverance, they were reunited and today, are a stable and thriving family.
Tenielle came from Jamaica searching for a better life. Family Immigration Services helped her navigate the complicated immigration system. Today, she is a U.S. citizen.

In response to Jesus Christ’s call to affirm the value and dignity of each human life, to build solidarity within the community, and to advocate for justice for the poor and vulnerable, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado humbly engages in the ministry of charity for those in both economic and spiritual poverty so that all – staff, volunteers, and clients – may fully achieve their God-given potential.
