Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, Inc. is the social service arm of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. It was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) human service organization in 1968. It is currently one of over 1,600 Catholic Charities USA social service agencies in the United States.
Catholic Charities Provides Help and Creates Hope for people who are poor and vulnerable in our area through the efforts of a wide range of programs and services. While most services are provided in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, El Paso and Douglas Counties, Catholic Charities provides serves a 10-county area in the center of Colorado.
Catholic Charities serves anyone in need regardless of religion, race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic level, or background.

Mike lived in the shelter for a year. During that time, he ate at the Marian House Kitchen. When he found a job and an apartment, he began using the Marketplace food pantry to make ends meet. Mike is grateful that Catholic Charities accepted him and was there to help.
Our Agency is guided by two leadership bodies: the Board of Directors, who represent the diversity of our community and play an integral role in strategic guidance, and our Leadership Team, who manage and guide the strategic vision of the Catholic Charities.

Our Story
In 1968, Monsignor Don Dunn was given the mission of establishing a Catholic Charities office in Colorado Springs, and in October of that year, Denver Archbishop James Casey officially signed the articles of incorporation for Colorado Springs Catholic Social Services. Although the name has changed several times, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado has always had the mission to help those in need.
