What does housing justice look like in a community where more and more people are struggling to find a home they can afford?

This month on Mission Forward, Catherine Duarte, Senior Vice President of Housing Development at Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, is taking a closer look at our region’s housing shortage through the lens of people, place, and compassion.

With our region currently short more than 27,000 homes, the conversation can’t only be about how many homes we build. It also has to be about who has access to them, where they are built, and how we grow in ways that allow more of our neighbors to thrive.

Over the next four weeks, Catherine will explore what housing justice can look like in our community—and why all of us have a role in the conversation.
