Family Life Coaching (case management) is available for families to receive guidance on their path from crisis to stability. The program encourages families to work with a family life coach who helps them set goals and develop a plan to achieve those goals. Families enrolled in these programs have access to a variety of tools to help them on their path to greater stability.
We understand that life’s challenges can unexpectedly push families to the brink. Our comprehensive support system is designed to catch families before they fall into homelessness. From financial counseling to eviction prevention assistance, we are here to provide the tools families need to overcome obstacles and stay in their homes.

CCR is a program intended to prevent child maltreatment through a partnership with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood and DHS.

This program works at the school level to identify students at risk of homelessness, then work with the student and families to achieve stability.

Every family needs some type of help at some point. Concrete supports in times of need can be a lifeline and stepping stone to stabilization
Colorado Community Response (CCR) is a voluntary program that provides prevention services to families who have been referred to the child welfare system, but ultimately are not required to engage in services because the referral was “screened out” or closed after initial assessment. The program operates through a partnership with the Colorado Department of Early Childhood and is designed to empower families to overcome barriers to well-being by connecting them to case management, goal setting, and concrete services in times of need.
In partnership with Pikes Peak United Way (PPUW), Harrison School District Two (D2), and the Siemer Institute, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado offers the Student and Family Support Program (SFS) – a year-long life coaching opportunity for students and their families who are at risk of homelessness and attend either Sierra High School or Centennial Elementary School. Families are referred to the program by a staff member at the school. Families choosing to participate in the SFS program will work with a Life Coach to build an action plan focused on goals of increasing income, stabilizing housing, and/or keeping children at their school of choice.
The Family Strengthening Program is often the gateway to healthy engagement for families who come in for emergency needs but are invited to engage in family life coaching and assistance in clarifying and achieving goals toward greater self-reliance. We utilize a strength-based approach and recognize the potential that each family brings.

Student & Family Support Program Changes Lives
Jaime now has a future he is excited about. Before meeting with a case manager in the Student & Family Support Program (SFSP), Jaime thought his only options after high school were to join the military or a gang. Now, he realizes his future can be much broader. He has enrolled in college and is excited to begin a new career. SFSP opens hearts, minds, and possibilities.
Start by doing what is necessary.
Then do what is possible.
Suddenly you are doing the impossible.
